Life is an Open Secret...You, Me and We

A book written by Zabrina A. Bakar. A very interesting book consists of 18 inspirational stories of ordinary life experiences.

I really enjoyed this book, eventhough I was half-way through. I had pleasure of reading the contents and this book was sort of book I enjoyed as a commuter on my way or back from work. I would definitely buy the other book of hers entitled Life is an Open Secret - Think about it Here.

Do visit the http://www.wisdomthruwords.blogspot.com/

I would also recommend all my friends to read those books as well. Tell me what you think about this book.

Books and the girls

I like this book the most...

Alamak... forgot to turn the picture... kindly turn your head to the right....

My favourite recipe is here to be tried out later... I will report the result ...soon...

This is another book to add to my collections...

A motivational book by a local writer... I should have bought the first book... this is her second book... I have started reading... very interesting... 18 inspirational stories from ordinary life experiences...
Yesterday morning I was out quite early in the morning to do my groceries at the giant hypermarket in Senawang. Before entering the supermarket, we singgah at the MPH and Sarah grabbed Aku Mahu Buli by Ain Maisarah and Hajar was forced to take the Program Mudah Baca book 1-4. No coloring books this time. Hajar reluctantly agreed with me... For me... nothing... since nothing interest me... not much of choice here since the bookstore was small..

After we have done with the groceries, we rushed home. It was already 1.00 p.m. and Babah has to go for Friday prayer...

After Friday prayer, Angah called me saying that she was on her way from Bangi to balik kampung. The traffic was quite slow as everyone were rushing out the city.. She planned to singgah at Jusco, Seremban 2 for lunch as all her children only have breakfast before the journey. I agreed to meet her there and about 3 p.m. all of us except Babah were on our way.

We met up at infront of MPH bookstore.. This time I have to get something for myself... The girls, Angah's 4 girls and a son and mine 3 girls, altogether aged between 15 (Nadia) and 2 (Maryam). They (except for Nadia, Sarah and Haqim) ran happily playing hide-and-seek inside the bookstore and grabbed one princess activity book for each of themselves.. The mommies (me and Angah), Nadia and Sarah were busy browsing through all the shelves at our favourite sections..

Finally, I have to pay quite a handsome amount of money for all the selections made by me and my 3 girls (books as above). I got the Sanctuary by Nora Roberts, 500 Pai dan Tart by Rebecca Baugniet (translated to BM), a motivational book Life is an Open Secret - You, Me and We by Zabrina Abu Bakar, Cupcakes, Muffins and Scones by Azza Pawanchik and Nadia's a bunch of PMR books. Hope she would produce the best result she could... InsyaAllah... please pray for her success and our children success be it in education or in their lives...Amin....

City Park, Seremban 2

It was a kind of soothing theraphy to see these colourful creatures.. All these can be found inside the man-made lake of City Park at Seremban 2. I was there this morning to jog with Nadia and my husband. We do some body stretching and use the exercise equipment free or charge.. Since last we were at Seremban Lake Garden, this week we changed our jogging destination to here. Tukar angin...

I am not sure of the feeding time...

It was a calm and clean and fresh scenery...

I was supposed to join this line dancing class by this lady teacher at 7.30 a.m. but today I was late and decided to join them with Nadia next week. See the kakaks and Aunties... Soon I will be one of the kakaks...

After we have finished 2 rounds of jogging and brisk walk, we headed to our usual eatery place at Stadium Paroi to have my favourite roti jala.. and kopi o... dah kenyang ... balik...

Malang memang tak berbau...

Do not panic..

But before that.... (if you notice, the year on the photo.. pls ignore... the setting on the camera was wrong)

Yesterday, I was late to office. The moment I reached the gate, the security guard recorded my name as latecomer at 9.56 a.m. Ala... biarlah.. bukan selalu pun... The reason why I was late was because I took a bus ride to Shah Alam from Seremban. The Transnasional express bus leaving the Terminal 2 in Seremban quite late by 15 minutes from the original fixed time at 8.30 a.m. Normally if any of my 3 pool transports is not availabe for the day, I would take the 8.30 a.m. bus. The bus would stop at the Shah Alam's Section 17 Bus Station after an hour and from there I would take a cab to my office. I would reached office at 9.45 a.m. Nowadays, I seldom drive to the office.

When I reached my workstation, my in-tray was fulled.. I just ignored it... my stomach was singing... I made a cup of hot chocolate... drank it and started to work...

Suddenly my collegue, Ida came over and suggested that we make another trip to Bake With yen for our cuppies supplies.. I quickly agreed and we set the timing at 12.30 p.m.!

The time was fast... and we left office at 12.40 p.m. heading to Bandar Puteri, Puchong.. Ida was driving her chilli-red Wira (above photo).. we were talking all along and the road between the shoplot were buy as it was lunch hour... We were talking and talking (never stop talking). The opposite side of the lane, the car was like bumper to bumper.. As we were approaching a T junction... suddenly I felt that something knocked the rear site of the car and it was a big bang!!! I pun apa lagi menjeritlah mengalahkan Ida, who was driving, but she did not scream at all. She pulled over and the car that hit Ida's car also pulled over. We came out of the car and Ida remark was "alamak... nak balik kampung malam ni.. macamana??" and we saw the other driver was walking towards us. Ida's car, both driver's door and passenger door was badly scratched and kemek. The other car was a Waja. The bonet was also kemek and the lampu jatuh. That gentleman was very gentle and like Ida, was panic also. It was about 1.00 p.m.

I, as a major witness, just stand and speechless.. We exchange our own sides of stories and finally decided to make a report at the nearby Police Station. We headed for the Police Station and were stucked there for 2 hours beginning from writing the report and waiting. We walk passed by the lokap... The people inside there was like... scary la.. I quickly make my move hoping that they would forget my face... manalah tahu... they felt insulted ke ...by me looking at them...

While waiting for the officer to called Ida, we called office to inform our colleague about the accident that happened to us. And we also exchanged self introduction with the guy. His name was Choo. Quite good-looking and he's chinese. We also snapped a few photos and Ida also snapped his photo. I would share the photos later. Sikit pun tak tuduh-menuduh. Baik betul...

Later, we returned to office and started answering a lot of questions from other colleagues. Alhamdulillah, kami selamat dan tak cedera eventhough Ida's car kena hantar bengkel after this.
Finally, we returned to office without the baking supplies but with our lives.... Syukur Alhamdulillah..
