Another pouch..

I sewn and machine embroidered this pouch late last night upon special request from a special friend.... (notice tak the photo taken at the same bangku as before)

This morning, she was so happy to receive the gift ... terus taruk semua make-up dia dalam tu...

I am sure happy if kawan-kawan happy....

Pouch again...

During the weekend, I was quite busy, struggling to finish the remainder pouch yang belum siap... including 2 bigger pouches with embroidery (above photo). The embroidery is much easier because I only use one thread only, so cepatlah siap...

On Saturday, after sending Sarah off onboard the bus, she's gone to Cameron Highlands over the weekend, dengan di bantu (kacau) oleh Hajar I started to sew the eleven pcs of small pouches. Actually the small pouches are for the batu seremban. After that I sew small squares, 5 pcs for each set, filled with kacang hijau and sembat tangan....

On Sunday continue lagi.... I finally done after the two bigger pouches siap. The bigger pouches are for the biji guli untuk permainan congkak. All these requested by the Sport Club at my workplace.

So... today I happily delivered all the pouches to the person yang mengorder....

something done and many things not done....

Finally... it's done... I sewn the whole set of five pouches of batu seremban... consists of 5 pcs for each pouch.

All the fabrics used were left over from my blouse (brown floral corduroy) and cottons from the fabric photo frame I used to do quite some time ago.

Today, I have given all those tiny pouches to the lady who is in charge for the women's affair of our company's sport club... and also a close friend of mine... Siti Zaharah..

Next project before puasa start.... siapkan another sulam manik for a friend sister's baju kurung... sempat tak ni... during Ramadhan pulak nak jahit baju kurung for my daughters lagi... nak jahit langsir sliding door lagi... belum lagi langsir dapur yang tergendala from last raya, and yang paling penting my sarung cushion for my sofa.... alamak !!!!

Batu Seremban...

Few months ago....a colleague has asked me to sew a set of 5 batu seremban... I tak rasa pelik sebab before this my daughter pun pernah suruh jahitkan batu seremban for her and friend. I used to play 'batu seremban' during primary school. But those days we used to collect stones to be used as batu seremban.

During the weekend, baru I took the opportunity to sew a set of five 1.5" x 1.5" sachet batu seremban. I used my left over cotton from the baby's pillow case. I also sew 4" x 3.7" small pouch to keep those batu seremban... I filled those small squares with kacang hijau..

Anyone out there... ever sew batu seremban before.... It's quite fun sewing those tiny squares....

Oh ya... those batu seremban would be used for the Pertandingan Batu Seremban during Hari Wanita at our office to be held in October.
