Zaman sekolah...

I found these scanned photos from my picture folder..

This was our group photo for the school magazine... Form 5 Science 1 in 1985 with our teacher Mrs. Joseph Chow.... boleh teka tak yang mana satu I?

Inilah group yang paling fofular kat sekolah KGV, Seremban... masa ni Form 4 in 1984... (from L to R) Noraiha, Norlida, myself, Noriza Abas, Shazlina and Noriza Zakaria.

Sebenarnya I have loads of photos taken during those days, tahulah kan masa tu sikit-sikit nak pose, pantang ada yang bawak kamera...

And all other photos are still neatly kept inside the photo albums. Seronok betul zaman sekolah dulu-dulu kan..

Rasa bersalah...

Today, I got a phone call from Ayah... to tell the truth, I did not have any conversation with ayah since the kenduri. This is just not me.. it's not that I do not want to call him.. it's just that I suddenly felt so awkward, I do not know what to talk about or how to start the conversation..

He just said "lama tak dengar" then I heard myself was saying "sibuk sikit... last week pergi team building...bla..bla.. the girls sibuk dgn tuition and kelas tambahan .... bla...bla... (the excuses going on and on).. In between I asked him "ayah macamana? bla..bla.." The telephone conversation ended after 5 minutes.

I felt bad about myself.. I was not being myself... forgive me Ayah... I missed mak sooo much....

Kecek Kelate

One of my colleague walked passed by me just now by saying "Ain tak terbit?"... then I answered him " I tak tubik (for lunch)". He was kind of terkejut... "Eh you pandai kecek kelate?" Then I said, "pandai".

Once upon a time, in 1978 ~ 1982, I lived in Kelantan. I was in Primary 4 in 1978. I studied in S.R.K Zainab 1, Kota Bharu. What a sweet memories in Kelantan. I liked my life in Kelantan and I could also converse in bahasa kelate - kecek kelate. Until now.. I still kecek kelate... with Angah.. It was fun and enjoyable to be able to kecek kelate actually. Most of the words that I used, I could still remember... tapi ada jugak yang dah lupa... Once a while, me and Angah do kecek-kecek kelate when we meet or when we talked over the phone.

I still remember, I suka make (makan) kepok lekor.. sedap.. tak macam sekarang... kurang ikan lebih tepung...

After 1982 (I was in Form 2), we moved to Seremban. That was when I sekolah KGV in Seremban and people in school called me Cik Mek Molek!

Oh ya... I pun suka makan kuih cik mek molek.. very sweet and sedap tau...

.. and there goes everything inside... penuh... ada lagi beads tak cukup nak masukkan... nak kena beli lagi satu ni...

..more organised kan? ... ada satu baju my friend belum siap jahit manik lagi... after this, project buat beg for another friend pulak... Suraya...

Hari Keluarga dan Sukaneka

Hari Keluarga dan Sukaneka at Bandar Seremban Selatan was held at the padang in front of our house. So... senang je.. langkah longkang dah sampai...

The program started at about 8 a.m. but before that the registration of the colouring contest has begun at 7.45 a.m. And seperti kelazimannya, Hajar would not miss the contest and I seperti biasa jugak suspen kalau dia tak menang any hadiah be it 1-3 or hadiah saguhati... as long as dapat hadiah..

Guess what.. as usual jugaklah she won... this time second prize.. but she does not like the prize this time... a set of badminton racket and a tube of shuttle cocks.. I was quite amazed jugak sebab of all the prizes, a badminton set?? kelakar pun ada... Put it this way lah... Hajar could consider to turn into a badminton player after this beside as a netball player... I mean a good one...

Don't you think so?

What about me during the sukaneka? I ate the jamuan ringan since I did not prepare any breakfast... I did not take part at all during the sukaneka.. In between matches... I went home to sidai baju... boleh? After all it was a very sunny day... and a perfect day for my bedsheets and towels yesterday..
