Tak siap-siap

.

Banyak my projek menjahit tak siap-siap... macam mana ni? Antara yang dah start tapi belum siap ialah bag untuk seorang kawan yang jauh di selatan...yang sedang memandang ke arah selat teberau tu... tentu dia sudah jemu dan bosan menunggu bagnya yang tak siap-siap. Sungguh tak boleh di harap langsung si tukang jahit ini ya!

Sebenarnya banyak halangan (walaupun taklah sebesar mana) dalam nak menyiapkan sesatu projek tu (alasanlah tu!). Walau macam mana banyak alasan pun, saya akan tetap siapkan sikit demi sedikit.. Macam tadi ingat nak sulam butterfly, cari-cari kerta alas sulam pulak tak ada... mana pulak hilang nya ni? Tapi tak apa, kain ni dah cukup tebal, boleh terus sulam... akhirnya siap jugak butterfly biru itu.

Sekarang cuma tinggal nak cantumkan tangkai and lining sahaja. Sabar ya Cik Suraya...

The plan was at the very last minute. On Wednesday last week, apartment reservation at Ilham Resort was open with unlimited booking. The company I am working with is so generous to subsidise the apartment rate. So, apa lagi I immediately booked 3 apartments for the weekend. Memang we all adik-beradik had planned earlier to get together over the weekend, so the booking was just the right time, right place and right budget as well.

One day after the booking (Thursday) was made, it was confirmed and I immediately called the resort to book the BBQ and everything seemed to be perfect. Everyone in the family was informed that we gonna spend the weekend together at Ilham. The last time we were there was some 10 years ago. Lamanya!

The next day after work at home I informed my hubby and to my surprise he could not join us for the weekend. Alahai... kalau dia tak dapat pergi, we all tak nak pergi jugaklah. Lagipun, kitakan baru pergi situ April lepas. So dipendekkan cerita, tak jadilah.. yang jadi just the two sisters.

Last minute cancellation is not possible. HR will still deduct my salary. So, I offered to my sister and her SILs. Lucky, they accepted and ended up we spend our weekend at home, apalagi kemas rumah, menjahit sikit2 and tengok wayang... Prince of Persia... best jugak!!!

Ladies' coach

When I first heard about KTM komuter introduces the pink coach for ladies, I said, bagus jugak. The coach is special for ladies' only. Yet, the introduction of the ladies coach does not mean that the KTM Komuter management is sidelining the right of the male passengers. Do not get offended ye guys!

Yesterday, for the first time, I got to try the new service.. dah lama tak balik naik komuter ni sebenarnya. Since my pool transport was not available yesterday, I pun baliklah naik komuter and teringat pulak pasal this ladies' coach. I boarded the ladies coach ni at Stesen Bandar Tasik Selatan. Bagus jugak sebab dalam coach tu semuanya ladies.

Tapi, yang tak best nya bila sampai Serdang ada pulak mamat sorang ni tak reti bahasa masuk ladies' coach ni. Ada seorang kakak ni tegur cakap lelaki naik coach sebelah dia buat muka toya je. Ingatkan at the next station dia nak keluar from that coach, rupa-rupanya dia dengan muka tebal tak tahu malu and tak respect langsung all the ladies terus berada dalam coach tu sampai to his destination baru dia turun dengan muka poyo je. Geram betul I!! Masa dia berdiri depan I dalam tren tu, I pandang muka dia sambil jengil biji mata I, tapi dia tak faham bahasa betul!

Eh, I thought the coach suppose to be in pink? Semalam tak pink pun...

Baju Melayu

Salam hari Jumaat... terjumpa gambar ni masa browse thru the folder ... sungguh comel kanak-kanak 3 orang ni berbaju melayu sedondon. Berkilat-kilat lagi. Baru I perasan... sama kaler dengan cat dinding la... Eh lupa... kanak-kanak yang bercermin mata itu has turned 12 yesterday. Dah besar dah. That's Haqim, the one I mentioned in my post earlier. The photo was taken during Adik's wedding reception kat rumah mak last March.

I pun ada the same kain, belum buat baju lagi.. sebenarnya for my husband's baju melayu but... being soooo 'cerewet' (shhhh) , dia tak nak sebab berkilat2 katanya, boleh?? (I beli kain semua tu kat Bandung tau) I cadang buat baju kurung I je lah. Elok jugak. For the kenduri dia beli kain lain with not the same color for his baju melayu.

Baru teringat.....

Today is ayah's birthday yang ke 67... tapi belum call dia lagi.. He share the same bithdate with my nephew Haqim. Happy birthday ayah and happy birthday Haqim... Haqim is 12 today... dah kena buat IC... semua kena bayar macam adult... no more half price ya...

My daughter, Sarah will also turn 12 this coming June 26... also no longer half price... tiket wayang dah kena bayar penuh lah Sarah...

What's the birthday present?? Ok lah, insyaallah we all buat makan-makan bila balik rumah mak hujung bulan ni...
