How I wish I could do flower arrangement like the above ...
(picture from google) Since the past couple of months, I dah macam mak pengantin... most of my colleagues gelarkan I... maklumlah... mak kan dah tak ada.... bukan saja kakak pengantin... sibuknya macam nak dapat menantu...
Right after the bertunang early January this year, I dah start sibuk prepare the checklist...
I called it Adik's Wedding checklist.... to those out there yang nak naik pelamin bolehlah kita share bersama-sama checklist yang tak seberapa ni... silakan...
1. Date - Nikah (26 March), reception (27 March) & bertandang (28 March)
2. Venue - Nikah, bertandang (@ home)
3. Catering - majlis nikah and reception - from Tampin
5. Bridal make-up - make-up from Andaman (cum wedding coordinator) in Nilai (our old friend masa sekolah KGV dulu-dulu)
6. Decor - house (on our own) & pelamin, bilik pengantin by the wedding coordinator
7. Photographer - hired from KL
8. Baju Pengantin - nikah, reception, bertandang - laces bought in Bandung & beaded chiffon in KL, tailor in Seremban
9. All in the families outfits - all materials bought in Bandung, tailor in KL, Shah Alam, Seremban and Tampin
9. Favors - nikah (I prepared a white lace sachet to be filled with orchid scented potpourri - this sachet will be put together in a small paper bag together with some sweets and a cupcake from here & reception (small oval weaved rattan box with cover (bought in Bandung for less than RM1.00 after puas tawar-menawar) to be filled with coloured shredded paper and a telur for the guests & rombongan pengantin lelaki, and for the main table - we bought a light yellowish satin tissue box cover, also bought in Bandung
10. Hantaran - for him (9 dulang - with so-called English theme la kunun... akak tengah pulun buat lah ni...
11. Bunga pahar - reception & bertandang - bunga pahar bought from ZC Creation in Nilai 3, we bought 4 x 50 pcs = 200 pcs altogether, boleh tahan harganya!
12. Invitation cards -
we managed to get a nice & cheap blank light-englishyellowish card from Bandung (after penat mengukur jalan kat bandung tu!) and got it printed at here. We considered this as cheap, all in satu card less than RM1.00 boleh??!
13. Cake -
hantaran - beautiful cupcakes from here & acara potong kek (acara keluarga) - 3 tiered from KL
14. Hand bouquet - for the bride from the wedding coordinator collection & flower girls (8 org) - we bought from ZC Creation in Nilai 3
15. Ada lagi tak yang tertinggal ??? - please suggest.... akak dah pening ni....

Senyum meleret... maklumlah tugas-tugas khas dah selesai...
This is the pelamin that was done by the Pak Andam... later I will introduce the Pak Andam ya... .. my sister's classmate and also my junior prefect masa kat KGV dulu-dulu...
Daun-daun hijau tu bukan nya artificial tau... melainkan yang segar-segar belaka... sila abaikan cushions yang bersepah-sepah tu ya.... oh ya... we use our daybed yang sedia ada kat rumah as the tempat duduk pengantin...
Jangan terkejut... hantaran ni bukannya bertingkat tinggi macam ni... I cuma tindih-tindih kan gabus tu sebelum sudahkan gubahan seterusnya....
This is the bekas hantaran yang sudah siap dijahit...
I suka betul dengan bunga-bunga kecik kat tepi gabus tu....

We hanged at the centre front of the porch... ada satu lagi macam sarang burung was also hanged in front of the entrance...
Dalam sangkar tu tak de burung... tapi a bulb lampu... so malam... switch on the light... it was sooo beautiful... tak de gambar la pulak...
